Weddings in Ibiza

An Ibiza wedding for 60–100 guests typically costs €40,000–€100,000+, books 9–18 months ahead for peak Saturdays, and, for most international couples, pairs legal paperwork at home with a celebrant ceremony on the island. Ibiza Event Partners plans the whole wedding with you: venue, celebrant, catering, flowers and music matched around your day through people we have worked with for years, before you commit to anything.

The three decisions that shape everything

1. Venue type. Ibiza weddings happen in four main settings, each with its own trade-offs:

2. Legal or symbolic. Civil ceremonies in Spain are generally only available where at least one partner is a Spanish resident. Most international couples do the paperwork at their local registry office, then hold a celebrant-led ceremony in Ibiza. Guests rarely know, and you can pick from excellent English-speaking celebrants on the island.

3. Date. May, June, September and early October are the sweet spot: dependable weather without August's peak heat, crowds and prices. Peak-season Saturdays at sought-after venues are the first dates to go: 9–18 months ahead is normal.

What it typically costs

How we fit in

The name may sound corporate; the work is anything but. Most of what we do is listen to how you want the day to feel, then put you in front of the small circle of people on the island who can actually deliver it: the partners in Ibiza Event Partners are the celebrants, caterers, florists and venue owners we would trust with our own family's wedding.

We're not a wedding planner and don't pretend to be: we're the step before one. Brief us with your month, guest count and budget band, and we'll shortlist venues that genuinely fit (licensed, available, in budget), plus celebrants, caterers and photographers we'd use ourselves. You book everyone directly at their own prices. If your wedding needs full on-the-day planning and production (most over ~80 guests do), we introduce planners we trust and step back. Our fee comes from the venues and suppliers we introduce: you contract them directly at their own prices, with no markup.

Ibiza weddings FAQ

How much does a wedding in Ibiza cost?

Most full weddings for 60–100 guests fall in a typical range of €40,000–€100,000+ covering venue, catering, styling, flowers, music and logistics. An intimate ceremony with a restaurant dinner can come in well below that. Peak-season Saturdays at the best-known venues sit at the top of the range.

Can we get legally married in Ibiza?

Usually not in a practical sense: civil ceremonies in Spain are generally only available where at least one partner is a Spanish resident, and church weddings have their own requirements. Most international couples complete the legal paperwork at home and hold a celebrant-led ceremony in Ibiza: guests rarely know the difference.

How far in advance should we book?

9–18 months for a peak-season Saturday at a sought-after venue. May, early June and October dates, and weekdays, can often be secured 6–9 months out. Key suppliers (photographers, celebrants, the best caterers) book up on a similar timeline.

Can we have a beach wedding?

A ceremony on a public beach needs council and coastal-authority permission, which is slow and often refused in season. The reliable route is a licensed beach restaurant or beach club: sand, sea and sunset with none of the permit risk, plus a legal setting for music and dinner.

What time does the music have to finish?

Depends entirely on the venue. Licensed venues can typically run later; villas and fincas in residential areas generally face outdoor music cut-offs around midnight, sometimes earlier. Common plans: move the party indoors, switch to a silent disco, or continue at a club in town.

Do you replace a wedding planner?

No. We're the step before one. We match you with the right venue and core suppliers, and where a full planner is the right call, we introduce planners we trust. You stay in control of who you hire.
