Birthday parties in Ibiza

The best Ibiza birthdays pick one anchor: a villa dinner with a private chef (typically €80–€180 per head), a boat day (€1,000–€10,000+), or a beach-club table, and build around it. Ibiza Event Partners assembles the venue, chef, boat and extras around your celebration (one full event, not piecemeal bookings), drawing on years of working relationships with the island's chefs, boats and venues, usually replying within one working day.

The two things to check before anything else

Does your villa allow it? If you've already rented one, the contract may prohibit parties: many do. We check this first, because losing a deposit over a birthday cake and a speaker is a bad trade. If the villa says no, a licensed finca or restaurant nearby usually says yes.

How late do you really want music? Outdoor amplified music at residential villas generally has to stop around midnight, often earlier. If the answer is "late", plan the night portion at a licensed venue and keep the villa for dinner. If the answer is "we'll be in the pool by eleven anyway", the villa dinner is perfect as-is.

Timing

July and August birthdays need 4–8 weeks of lead time: the villas that permit parties, the good chefs and the boats all book out. May, June, September and October are far more forgiving, and off-season a chef dinner can come together in days. If your date is fixed (birthdays usually are), send it early and we'll tell you honestly what's available.

Birthday FAQ

How much does a birthday party in Ibiza cost?

Typical anchors: a villa dinner with a private chef runs €80–€180 per head; a boat day €1,000–€4,000 for a small licensed boat, €10,000+ for a large yacht; a catered villa party for ~50 guests €6,000–€15,000+ excluding the villa. A beach-club table can be as simple as a minimum spend.

What's the best format for a mixed group?

A long villa or finca dinner that becomes a party after dessert. It suits ages 8 to 80, keeps everyone in one place, and lets the energy scale naturally. For a full weekend: arrival dinner, boat or beach-club day, then the party night.

How far ahead should I plan?

For July and August, 4–8 weeks minimum: chefs, boats and party-friendly villas book out. Shoulder months are much more flexible, and a dinner-first birthday can sometimes be arranged within days off-peak.

Can we have music at the villa?

Within limits: many rental villas prohibit events, and outdoor amplified music at residential properties generally has to stop around midnight or earlier. If dancing until late matters, book a licensed venue for the night portion, we can line one up near your villa.

Do you organise surprise birthdays?

Yes. Surprises are easier here than most places, because everything plausible ("we're just going to dinner") can hide a chef, a cake, a singer or a boat waiting at the marina. Tell us who must not find out and we'll keep the paper trail away from them.

What does your help cost?

Our fee comes from the venues, chefs, boats and suppliers we introduce, you book and pay them directly at their normal prices, with no markup.

Got a date to celebrate?

Send the date, guest count and rough budget. We'll come back with formats and real numbers, usually within a day.
